Political Action Committees (PACs) accept contributions from individuals interested in collaborating to advance a specific cause. Consider making a contribution to the National Community Action Foundation's CAP-PAC for national lobbying or to the Illinois Poverty Action Council's IPAC-PAC for state advocacy and lobbying.
All contributions must be made from your personal funds. No Agency or business contributions are allowed for either.
CAP-PAC: The National Community Action Foundation (NCAF) operates the Community Action Program Political Action Committee (CAP-PAC) to participate in national election campaigns and to conduct other lobbying activities in support of Community Action programs and services. Contributions of any size are appreciated and will be used to support the work of Community Action. If you give $199 or more annually, you will join Club 199 and will receive a lapel pin. IPAC-PAC: The Illinois Poverty Action Council (IPAC) operates a state political action committee, IPAC-PAC, to participate in the Illinois political process and to lobby and advocate for Community Action Agencies in Illinois. Contribute $19.64 or more annually to join Team 1964. Contribute $100 or more annually to become an IPAC Champion. All contributors of $19.64 or more receive an IPAC-PAC pin.
